The New Mexico Baseball Academy is hosting an All Senior Baseball Showcase. This event is for any New Mexico senior playing baseball, who desires the opportunity to continue his playing carrier at the collegiate level. This Showcase will be the first of it's kind in New Mexico, and is intended to help all players who desire to continue to play an opportunity to display their skills in front of southwestern college scouts and professional scouts prior to the major league draft.
We have invited all the New Mexico college coaches from around the state and those schools boarding the state that traditionally recruit within New Mexico to attend this showcase. We believe that providing our local colleges and universities with the opportunity to see our seniors at one location at the same time, will help to facilitate their recruitment of our players. Because colleges have limited travel budgets and playing schedules that coincide with high school schedules; our players miss opportunities to receive scholarships, or at the very least, to have the chance to further their playing careers at the next level.
Your assistance is paramount to making this event a success. Our seniors need everyone's help to reach the next level. I realize that the majority of New Mexico's High School Coaches are all ready helping their players. However, due to the conflicts, many of our players are not seen. Therefore, with your assistance, we can showcase our seniors at one centralized location after the high school season is over.
The cost for this event is
$150.00 dollars. Rooms for coaches and players are at the Best Western Winrock.
The dates for the showcase have been set to avoid any conflicts with the
high school season, and post season events.
Therefore, this event will be held at the University of New Mexico
Baseball field. Beginning Tuesday, May 27th and running through, May 28th. The
showcase will start at 8 a.m. on the 27th and end at 5 p.m. on the 28th.
